The FDA has given CTIX the green light for a Prurisol phase 2/3 trial. They need to test Prurisol before that trial. I don't see any reason for the FDA to test drugs that are entering trials in other countries. The Phase 2/3 trial in the U.S. is not dependant on the European Proof of Concept trial results. CTIX has stated that the PoF trial is to find out which types of psoriasis Prurisol works best on.
It makes sense to find out where Prurisol woks best before starting the European and U.S. phase 2/3 trials.
