Every person that refuses to get the vaccine, especially now that it has been shown to have great efficacy and extremely small number of AEs, are now putting everyone else at risk. They have an extremely higher risk of getting covid and passing it along to even vaccinated people. This continued passing of the loaded gun also runs the risk of creating more mutations. Every person that gets covid creates some mutations we are playing Russian roulette with every infection, the person next to you could be carrying the newest mutation that completely side steps the vaccines and we are all back to square one.
If you are an anti-vaxxer you should be going around saying "Thank you for your service" to everyone you know who has gotten the vaccine because they did take a small risk, especially the people in the original trials and the early users, which was most of the medical community.
If you have no desire to help your general community and help keep everyone safe then by all means don't get the vaccine.
P.S.
Massachusetts just release the statistics one the number of breakthrough infections and deaths for fully vaccinated people. and Anti-vaxers were trying to use the numbers to show that vaccines are somehow not working.
After running some numbers I calculated that a un-vaccinated person in MA now has a small chance of dying from covid .13%(High vaccination state)
A fully vaccinated persons chances of dying is now .0018%
Saying all that, the infection rate in MA has just jumped up from last week 180% almost all Delta variant and 90+% unvaccinated.
