Initial IND and protocol for cancer were filed Nov. 5th, 2018. Prostagene was fully acquired November 19th, 2018. Subsequently Pestell said there were safety issues with the protocol and it must have been withdrawn. Going into an FDA meeting with the CMO saying the protocol was bad is a no-no.
Nothing was done by Pestell to correct what he thought was wrong. After he was fired protocol was submitted and approved with no problems.
