I know someone at Outreach. I've mentioned them be

Outreach Raised $200 Million in Series G with a $4.4 Billion Valuation and its total funding to $489 million - Jun 02, 2021
What the hay?
Oh no...
oh no...
oh no no no no no
Whatever happened to?
That outreach company I knew?
Full-time mb jockeys say if you raise money, that is a bad thing and just brings the valuation down.
Guess what? They're wrong.
Yeah baby, they're wrong!
Their revenue sits at $100M last fall so valued at 44 times revenue.
If Verb was valued at 44 times revenue, they would be close to 1/2B valuation.
But red, they have 10 times the revenue and doesn't that multiply only apply to 'certain' stocks. Maybe stocks with billion dollar valuations?
No, the higher multiples get tougher the more revenue you make. This is one reason why Bambuser marketcap was so high at .5B with the same revenue as Verb.
Verb showing any indication of growth which is actually visible in June and July with command a much higher ratio
Outreach's pricing starts at $100/user/month and they are growing like gangbusters. No shortage of people looking to spend money to have better sales. Why is Outreach growing when their are other CRM companies like Salesforce?
Maybe they have something Salesforce doesn't
They don't have anything like Verb, but they do have their own video conferencing tool.
Well, sorta, not really.
It's actually Zooms with a plugin
But it is interesting concept. They translate the sales meeting to text
But red, Microsoft teams does that
Outreach says they are 90% accurate
Oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no
Wonder what the other 10% look like? Maybe some of my posts?
But it is a cool concept. The way it's suppose to work is for one, it's taking notes for you and then does a summary. It also will use key word searching to try to find into for you while you are on a sales call. It will also try to capture questions and action items. The concept seems great. How it really works would be interesting to see. Does it actually work and is concise or just confuse the heck out of you. I would guess it probably works.
They don't have anything like Verb does and do be fair, Verb doesn't have the video to text translation, but you have to ask yourself a few questions. Do you really need it? How accurate is it in real life? It's probably great for looking up something.
BUT and this is a BIG BUTT...
How about instead of capturing all that jazz, just actually sell someone the product while you are on the call? More conversions, less meetings
Outreach looks like a great company. Maybe they buy Verb one day?
Switching back to the valuation part
There was a guy that posted he reached out to Verb because the was interesting in a Series B investment.
Maybe some potential investors don't realize VERB is public, eh?
