TopDog - I could not agree more. Basically most of the MMs just sit at their trading terminals all day so you know they surf the internet. I think many of them troll the boards as well and have fun attempting to sway sentiment of the little fishies if they can. Manipulative people will take any room to control you give them, give them an inch they will take a mile. It is no accident or coincidence that they can typically predict exactly where the PPS and "action" is going to take the stock. They can see all of the actual institutional and retail bids and asks and stop orders, much more transparency for them than the mere LII, so they can gauge buying and selling pressure for the future much more finely than anyone else, and they also are connected to the firms billions to use at their discretion to bid it up or tank it, at will. Absolute power, corrupts, absolutely. They cannot just do their jobs and watch the fishies rant all day without realizing some of their inside-derived power and getting on the boards to feel the godlike power of bashing or pumping and then it comes true instantly before everyones eyes. Do not think for a second that none of them get on the anonymous public boards and post about RFMK.
Notice how the bashers always only focus on the percentage change in price. They never want to mention how much volume traded to make the price change by the daily amount. Truly, on any given day, say for instance that no shares traded all day, and then minutes before the bell the MMs see that no bids exist except theirs, they could easily trade only 100k shares and print any triple zero (0.0001) price they wanted, especially on a slow Friday when no buyers are present 30 seconds before the closing bell and they exchange a couple million shares between each other without even altering their cost basis for the large blocks they hold in inventory; YOUR shares by the way, if in a margin account. The chicanery that goes on is utterly retarded, yet it goes on every day in most stocks. Just my own opinions but for me, seeing the market cap go down by 20% on 0.6% of the total shares in the company makes me laugh, not cry. But hey, "what the * do I know", right?!
