My wife and I have been living on the edge with this for as long as I can remember. It's been an emotional rollercoaster with great excitement and anticipation followed by draining let downs. I have made the mistake so many times by saying "any day now" and "next week is definitely the week." So now I have resolved myself to believe that this is not any day now BUT it's looking really good for the near future. I've prepared myself emotionally to the fact that this process could take several more months. I don't know if I can handle another huge punch in the gut!!
