Excellent points.
(Full disclosure- I am waiting for the full picture before determining which way to land on this. And - even though they are huge to me- not enough shares for my vote to mean anything to anybody but me.)
Stockholder letter today was the first bit of straight-from-the-horse's mouth information I have had to be able to evaluate the 5% group that was not based on hearsay. Two things were striking:
1) Point #2- Letter insinuates that 'based on a poor and unsalvageable relationship' caused Dr. Pourhassan and Dr. Kelly, the FDA has repeatedly 'refused to authorize CYDY-led clinical trials or even authorize applications' for leron.
I retired from the government public health sector- and this blew my mind-- on many levels. What does this mean to a government worker? Are they stating- on paper- that government workers are highly influenced by their relationships? that the approval of leron has been based on how much people like each other? - that the 'relationship; is the big criteria used to evaluate and process drug approval? A government employee with integrity will not take this accusation well. -If you are one that believes no one/ no government employee has integrity- OK- even then they will not like it being insinuated in a public document- especially with the hot water FDA is in now.
2) "Their priorities are clear: enrich themselves first, worry about the Company and generating value for stockholders last."
OK- what in your plan is going to hold any of the proposed new BOD to a different standard? How are the 5%'s going to limit the BOD compensation? I would be all ears to hear the ways they will limit lining their pockets- very much including selling it out and their involvement with IncellDx and BP. Certainly won't assume the worst - but for full disclosure.
Anywho- lots to figure out- for me anyway.
