It can hurt to give them a chance. It can hurt a lot. I think many non 13d investors are getting tired of being spoken to as if we are idiots and need the super smart 13d group to fix everything. So far the plan is to not tell anyone what the plan is and to trash talk the current mgmt to make themselves look good. Statements like streamlining the spending, get better trials, raise money… they are all dumb comments unless supported with how to do these things. Why do I need to point this out? 13d is going to do better? Really, that is what is going to convince me to support them?
It is hard to really develop a plan that fixes problems, if there was one then why not work with the current mgmt to improve the chances of getting this drug on the market? Why does the 13d group need to throw out the entire board? That is only explained with inflated egos. Remember, it is easy to criticize, hard to do better. The current mgmt might not be to everyone’s liking but they are actually doing things, they are not proposing or trashing.
