I am so tired of anyone referring to the "market" as some sort of accurate barometer to judge fundamentals. If you want to day trade and read charts to convince you to buy and sell, then great. If you understand the market is made up of thousands of traders who are constantly at war with each other over believing a stock is under priced or over priced and it will correct in the future, then look at the actual fundamentals.
Before you criticize, offer what you would do better, it is not so easy. BP does not get drugs trough trials any easier than small biotechs, they get a pass every once and awhile, but don't expect it. How would you raise $100s of millions to pay for trials that might result in a drug that does not work? Would you not chase the opportunities that present themselves? would you give up when the FDA files a RTF?
