Bottom line: are current shares worth keeping?
Post# of 22454
I've been lurking on here, as this board seems to pay the most attention. Years ago, I bought into OLED (Universal Display) and did well, saw QTMM as in the same vein. Now things are wonky, and I get it. But I haven't gone through a situation like this. I saw someone take a stab at this answer, but I wasn't satisfied, so, can anyone tell us:
1) Will our current stocks exist if QTMM leaves and returns?
2) What do folks estimate the chances are of: going private; restructuring to a new company with new shares; being absorbed by another company; completely disappearing?
3) In those scenarios, how many of them result in our ending up with nothing?
4) Is it better to hold and hope, or sell now and wait until whatever happens happens, and then buy back in at that point?
Wishing I'd asked when the stock was at 6¢, but whatever, I do believe in the tech, but need others' thoughts on what the actual risk is.
