Interesting point , but if you are running a business and need to look at probabilities because you are negative cash flow, some sacrifices have to be made. I would argue Cd10 was more successful because the results from NEWS2 was key to developing the Long Haulers trial .. LH is a big deal because the effects of that are a long term disease or diseases in itself and has the best chance for success in the Covid arena for us. Cd12 failed to hit primary endpoints which in turn led to the letter from the fda and pretty much scaring off the foreign entities other than Brazil. NP brushed over Canada and the Philippines along with India barely being mentioned in the CC this week. And I’m curious if something fell through at the last minute because if you look at the CC slides #4 was missing . It went 3 then 5 which means they removed a topic. Either that or someone doesn’t know how to count..
In my mind , NPs lack of any detail around activities internationally ( other than Brazil) during the CC was a declaration of moving on to post covid treatment and pretty much a hale Mary in Brazil for any chance of an S/C approval. Governments around the world have pretty much declared the answer to the virus is vaccines .therapeutics have taken a back seat which is wrong but the realities of the situation..
