Yes, Celsius has been amazing, but look at the facts. The chart below makes it clear. If you bought in early and held, you and many others may have slipped deep in the red unless you bailed quickly to avoid a potentially long wait. Then in December of 2009, anyone that held on after the stock tanked and experienced the "dead cat bounce", you got kicked right in the ass with a 1 for 20 reverse split, the same as we did.
The price then bounced around in the gutter and flat lined for the most part, for over 5 years. You then finally saw a move toward breaking even, but only briefly from mid 2017 until early 2018, then back in the red you go until FINALLY , in the 2nd quarter of 2020, 10 long years later, it starts it's climb to where it is now.
Anyone actually doubt that a lot of early investors lost faith and sold at a loss?? I would be willing to bet that MOST of them sold as it rolled over. I have absolutely no doubt. One or two that post here told me that they were fed up with the wait (which was NOT from the beginning) and sold as soon as they got into the green some, but through hindsight, they of course have realized that they sold WAY too soon.
The point on which to focus is the time from "bust" or bottom, to the "boom" where they are now, which is 13 long years. Especially long for the impatient. I've heard people referring to Celsius many times on this board, and for good reason, but it's definitely good to remember what it would have taken to actually hold the stock from the beginning until big returns were realized. Also, this chart does not adjust the pps to show the actual price pre-split, it only shows what the pps would have been with the RS factored in. Regardless, it started out looking hot at just under $3/share and nose dived into penny land.
Investors jumping in late in 2019 or early in 2020 timed it perfectly, but the price tag per share was much higher than RMHB which discourages many OTC fortune hunters, but still, most flippers who timed it just right most likely did NOT time their exits just right, selling way too soon instead. Even though some waited far less than others, all buy and hold investors who had the belief, the resolve and the patience. along with a sizable investment, definitely could have made a fortune. Just would have required a serious "calm, cool, and collected" state of mind for the earliest of them!
