Volume and interest? Over 43M shares were traded yesterday. So there is your volume. As for interest...somebody had to be soaking those shares up and holding support. I couldn't care less if retail joes putting 1-2K into this are interested. Market makers will also factor into this. They had the available inventory of shares to keep selling into the demand over the past few weeks. However, they would have been establishing their own net short position during that period. There is a high probability that a controlling market maker nose dived the price yesterday in order to cover that short position at a profit. Using logic, that means they now have significant inventory of shares again, meaning they are net long. We have news pending, which will be the justification to start marking price up again and then eventually selling into the liquidity that retail will provide as they chase this thing upward on presumably good news.
