This is a horrendous looting of Medicare, and of the wallets of Medicare patients, whose premiums will pay FIFTY-SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR for every Alzheimer's patient, for something that doesn't work.
The FDA is doing this corrupt move now because they can. They'll look at their Swiss bank accounts, chuckle, and take early retirement. And the top-level executives like Woodcock (who might not have gone along with this had she thought that she'd be the permanent FDA head) will just resign or retire -- maybe to the Cayman Islands, where they can count their money every day.
