This is definitely a step in the right direction.

As 007 shared recently we had medicine with great success long before there was an FDA.
Imho, the FDA was a creation of the legal profession at the request of doctors who were getting crucified by the ambulance chasers. Damned if they did, damned if they didn't. Enter the math equation vs the oath, compassion & common sense.
To make this a fair discussion, I would like to share 2 observations.
In all fairness to the ambulance chasers, they are a product of OUR society.
In the days of oath, compassion & common sense, docs were often paid with eggs, chickens, baked goods,ect..., if they were payed at all. Of course the cost of wisdom & knowledge to be shared for the sake of humanity was much more inexpensive then. Point being-It is hard to hold a grudge against someone who shares a table with me.
Imho, this is something society will have to work out. But as suggested, it seems that when it is our lives at stake vs money, we have more "common sense".
Have a great weekend one & all.
