First Energy Metals (CSE: FE) (OTCQB: FEMFF), a publicly traded Canadian mineral exploration company, has entered into an acquisition agreement with Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. (TSX: GMX) (OTCQX: GLBXF) (FSE: G1MN). The agreement calls for FEMFF to acquire 100% interest into McNeely Lithium Property in Quebec. Located in LaCorne, Landrienne and Figuery Townships, the claims are scattered across several claim blocks and include 66 mining claims covering a total area of 2,276.49 hectares. Several of the claims are adjacent to FEMFF’s Augustus Lithium Property. In a separate release, Globex announced the same transaction, stating that the company is pleased to vend the property to First Energy Metals Limited, calling the company an active exploration neighbor. First Energy Metals has been conducting a drill program at Augustus since April 2021. With the newly announced acquisitions, the total size of the Augustus Lithium Property totals 15,045.62 hectares. “We are very pleased to acquire these claims adjacent to the Augustus and Canadian Lithium prospects on the property,” said First Energy Metals CEO Gurminder Sangha in the press release. “The new acquisition will give more ground to expand our current drill program to the east, west and south if the mineralization extends in that direction. This acquisition is a result of successful exploration work of First Energy showing excellent lithium mineralization on surface and drill holes.”
