We know we have to wait for the Auditors to finish their work. The SEC has most likely given added urgency to the task to be completed. QMC has taken on more financial employees.
To use your analogy, they've stopped the boat from sinking, patched the hole, they're bailing water (but not employees!) and they still have all the fish they caught.
