it takes two to tango. First, Joe should know bet

First, Joe should know better...he should. know. better....than to get mixed up in such a lose/lose conversation on social media, including this board. He’s young enough to be my son. And so I say, ‘son, don’t do that again. Ever. You only hurt yourself.’ And Joe, for your own sake, and I do mean you well, I’d recommend that you avoid this board like your life depended on it: when you show up here people might be looking to put a target on your back. No need for that. Life is hard enough just running a struggling company.
Professionally, there’s only so much ANY ceo can say in this environment. The only reasonable answers are, ‘I don’t know’, ‘I can’t comment on that’, or ‘email investor relations with your comments or questions’. Period.
Anyone who is trying to get a concrete answer from a ceo on social media is barking up the wrong tree. You’re destined to be disappointed. And frustrated. And if you get frustrated, looking for concrete answers, just know that it’s self-inflicted misery.
And lastly, and I am not making an accusation, but IF one were to plan to discredit a ceo or a company by drawing management into an embarrassing public exchange, well, we just got an effective lesson into how to do that. IF one were trying to do that, I’d have to say ‘well done!’
Let’s hope for more useful exchanges during the remainder of the GNBT journey.
