It's not the spikes per se. It's fragments of the virus containing RNA. The bodies own antibodies should destroy them. One of the longhaulers in our trial had no antibodies from the time she had COVID-19 until over a year later. After the 8th dose of leronlimab she had antibodies. So if the viral RNA is that persistent then leronlimab can turn around the body's own immune system to destroy it.
