There are early adopters who spot an opportunity and are extremely passionate about a particular service, stock, or crypto- Like Bitcoin. And then there's the average person.
Those Bitcoin longs have been at the party for more than a decade in some cases, beating the drum and waving the flag. But it isn't until talking heads and corporations who previously undermined crypto start praising it, that the average person thinks...."Well hey, now this seems legit!" Various price bubbles occur, but with a sustained uptrend, and the majority of average people lose more money than they make when trying to invest in something they may not fully understand.
...Meanwhile, the early adopters have enjoyed 400,000% gains.
I have friends who have bought into Verb based on my passion for the company, but who clearly did no research themselves, or lack the imagination & perspective to see the opportunity there- One mentioned yesterday that he's 'ready to dump Verb because it isn't enough action for him'
...In the same month that their integration to one of the most well known companies is set to be announced?
...In the same year that their revenue will be increasing exponentially?
...In the same decade that they're leading the charge for a relatively new and highly profitable virtual shopping industry?
To each their own...
