Ideanomics (NASDAQ: IDEX), a global company focused on driving the adoption of commercial electric vehicles and associated energy consumption, has announced that its subsidiary WAVE has completed another transit authority deployment. WAVE is a leading developer of high-power inductive charging solutions for medium and heavy-duty vehicles. The deployment involves a high-power, cable-free, in-route charging system for the Twin Transit Authority (“TTA”), located in Chehalis, Washington. Designed to help the Washington-based transit authority extend the driving range of its electric buses, the deployment is a significant step in accelerating TTA’s progress toward achieving its goal to make its fleet fully electric by 2030.
