"I have to say I am quite surprised at how few people are deciding to wait to form an opinion on this group."
Now that the 5%ers are here I don't have a problem hearing what they have to say. Who knows, maybe they have a magic wand that makes all of our problems go away. I have some problems with current management including my perception that they are overly optimistic and it has cost us. That said, I don't see them as being the big problem. The big problem is trying to take hundreds of billions of dollars away for BP. Little fish eating big fishes' food pisses big fishes off. Big fishes own the pond and dictate the rules. So, what are the 5%ers going to do to allow the little fishes to eat the big fishes' food that the current management isn't doing? Barring a magic wand the only thing I can think of is sell low to the big fishes. There are numbers I could live with, but I worry that my numbers are significantly different from their numbers. I also worry that the 5%ers might be working with the big fishes against the little fish. In a world of capitalistic manipulation that seems rather likely based on timing etc., but I'm just guessing and going on the same gut that got me invested in this thing in the first place. So show me what you've got up your sleeves, but again, I'll beware of Geeks bearing gifts.
