Happy Memorial Day everyone. Thank you to every single Veteran who ever served to protect us.
This day is especially bittersweet for me personally. Tomorrow is the anniversary of my Father’s passing in 2017. He was a Korean War Veteran and was the most honorable man I ever knew. I was given the opportunity to roll with the Patriot Guard Riders to bring his ashes home. They were all Veterans who let me take the lead behind a police escort. I was my Dad’s hearse... he was strapped to my tour pack. He loved to ride. There were many Veterans who pulled over to the side of the road, got out of their cars, and saluted as we rode by. It was the most humbling experience of my life and I’m more grateful than I can express to every Veteran out there today.
Happy Veterans Day to you Dr. Dalton. Thank you for your service. Thank you for sharing your dreams and your pain. Today it’s my turn to say to you... tune out the noise. Thank you for what are trying to accomplish and the opportunity to roll with you.
