I've touched on this before and have thrown the idea out to Verb for consideration, but it's hard to explain.
This should work for recorded video or live streams.
How many companies have an affiliate program? Verb has one to help sell their software, and Amazon has one to sell it's many products, but these are tech savvy marketing companies. I'm thinking there are hundreds of thousands of companies that could benefit from one, that are completely unaware that such a thing exists, much less how to go about setting up one?
What if Verb provided influencers everything they would need to approach any company with an exclusive offer to provide affiliate marketing services?
Let's say you have a youtube channel and are into boating... You could reach out to boat builders, suppliers for fishing gear, life vests, dinghies and more. Many of these people don't have a clue about affiliate programs, but with just a bit of tweaking, every influencer on the planet could easily set this up with the company of their choice provided they are using Verb.
Right now you have to search for large companies such as Amazon to see who offers an affiliate program AND to see if they had something you want to sell. This would give influencers a massive opportunity to pick who to work with that sells the products they are interested in selling.
Verb is in perfect position to do this with just a tweak and have another tool to sell. I think this could be bigger than the Attribution Feature, just set up differently.
