I wanted to see what remdesivir results were and their dosing routine compared to ours:
Remdesivir IV 200 mg 1st dose
Allowed 9 more days of 100 mg dose/day IV
Leronlimab SQ 1 dose day 1 700mg(I believe)
1 more SQ dose day 7
* not even close, Why couldn’t we dose once per week for 4 weeks after years of safety data- had rem been given that frequently in the past to see how it would affect patients? DOUBTFUL
Remdesivir- 131/ 532 patients with SAE
Leronlimab- safer than water
Mortality remdesivir: Day 15: 6.7%rem/11.9 placebo
Day 29: 11.4%rem/15.2%placebo
Mortality Leronlimab: Day 7 85% improvement
Day 14 51% improvement
* destroys rem even without recommended dose schedule- we’ll know more from Brazil trials
But Fauci said they had an ethical obligation to approve remdesivir for the good of the placebo patients after they changed the primary endpoint to days out of ICU 11 days compared to 15. I wonder how many of these patients were readmitted after the 9 doses of remdesivir IVed into them wore off.
