Re: Pokey123 #29452
I can see your point, Pokey, I do think too that we have a waiting period of more than 1,5 years behind us, before (I can hopfully finally see those shares in my account, and then ...) we may soon be able to sell them once the IPO is finally done, and now reading that it will be at least 270 days before we can cash out the dividend on top of the > 1.5 years we have already waited for the IPO now, is definitely VERY/EXTREMELY frustrating. I fully agree with you on this.

HOWEVER, I can surely see the reason why everybody is happy and excited about this S1, also. I am very excited myself, because this S1 has a lot of positive implications.

1) GNBT/NGIO management is following suit with yet another of their direct promises from the recent CC.
2) This S1 filing indicates that at least the 1.5 years waiting period will soon come to an end, and finally this mirage of "we are going straight to NAZ", with all the question marks that a lot of us have had in the past 18+ months, will materialize into something real and substantial.
3) Even if we will not be able to sell the NGIO shares, the NGIO IPO should at least have a HUGE impact as well on the GNBT share price, which will have a great effect as well on the overall value of my stock brokerage account.
4) With the IPO and the (hopefully!?) boosted share price of GNBT more people will get notice of GNBT, realize that there is much more to the company than just the vaccine development story, and might become new GNBT investors. This should also have a positive effect on the PPS of the GNBT stock.
5) Boosting GNBT's PPS back in the "several dollar range", might also get GNBT closer to the - also long since planned/announced - Nasdaq uplist.
6) ... have I still forgotten to mentioned something else important?

So I guess there are many good reason, why folks are excited about this S1 filing, and so far I do not see any reason why I would want to sue GNBT
