And as PennySlayer posted earlier, India just approved an EAU for a drug with scant clinical justification -- a drug with serious side effects and no statistically significant findings re efficacy.

So the Indian government, in the midst of a medical emergency, is going to toss out what is obviously not working, and gamble on what may work. What a bizarre approach to trying to save millions of its citizens' lives!
