We and Nader are two different subjects. The cop has a harder time shooting Nader who is complying when we are the ones who aren't. Of course the cop could shoot us both and plant guns on us, but that is even more difficult. Nader can't be held responsible for our actions unless it can be shown we work for him. I have no problems if your protests are peaceful and you don't advocate the forceful overthrow of the US govt. Then, depending on the circumstances I might get upset.
