Verb could create a new app called "verbAFFILIATE"
This app would be for any influencer that wants to introduce the benefits of Verb's affiliate marketing program to a small company that builds something, but doesn't know how to market it.
Let's say that I build furniture as a hobby and have a large following on my woodworking channel on youtube. Now one of my followers shared a picture of a trestle table that people love in his community, they are just nuts over it.
Now this guy doesn't have time for a youtube channel because he is too busy with his business of a dozen or so employees, but wants to sell this table to a larger market.
Lucky for him, you have the verbAFFILIATE app and so you ask him if he wants to sell more trestle tables through you?
You text him a link to a video and\or the contract detailing how it works.
Now the only difference between this contract and others is that this one will be based on YOUR terms, not terms that would normally be dictated by a big seller like Amazon, but YOUR terms.
He signs the contract and you send him a link to download his version of the app. which automatically sends him a purchase order and shipping address each time a customer clicks that "buy now" button.
The software figures out who owes what and when, and it was all driven by the influencer on youtube.
Customers get their trestle table, all attributable influencers get their commissions on sales, Verb gets a monthly fee from all participants and a cut of all sales.
Right now affiliate marketing is a big deal and influencers are in search of companies that offer it with the best deal. VerbAFFILIATE would flip this model on it's head and put influencers in charge. If you had a wood working channel on youtube, could you even find someone with trestle tables???
Just more food for thought...
