Post# of 51
Uranium Energy (NYSE American: UEC) is intent on advancing and expanding Burke Hollow’s resources, an in-situ recovery (“ISR”) uranium project in South Texas, according to a recent article. As a result, it “restarted wellfield development and resource delineation drilling.” The expansion of Burke Hollow’s resources “dovetails with UEC’s plans to participate in supplying the U.S. Uranium Reserve (‘UR’) as outlined in the Nuclear Fuel Working Group report published by the U.S. Department of Energy.” The company controls the largest uranium resource base of fully permitted ISR projects in Texas and Wyoming of any U.S.-based producer and is also “investing to build the next generation of low-cost and environmentally friendly uranium projects that will be competitive on a global basis.” These various exploits are geared towards fulfilling a specific objective, as CEO Amir Adnani noted: “Our main objective is to continue adding value to our shareholders and grow the company into the largest and most profitable uranium company in the United States.”
