DOE SETO issues new 5 year funding plan
for solar energy projects.

QMC started as Solterra Renewable Technologies. Dr Ghassan Jabbour, co-founder, has been working on QDSC photovoltaics for longer than that. Quantum Dots Solar Cells are now viable and cost effective.
SETOs goal is 35 to 50 percent solar energy by 2035. A big tent for solar.
Squires wrote, "Quantum Dots, Future Energy Source" a dozen years ago. Solar is still on the QMC website as a potential product.
A book from my freshman sociology class was Summerhill, about a school where students learned when they felt motivated to learn and it was not forced on them. They learned faster than expected.
There's an old saying, "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear." Maybe the DOE is finally ready?
