On a video call with the guy who ran the latest interview, Dr. Randy (This was a few weeks ago and featured just Dr. Randy and the interviewer) said he'd been in talks with Cytodyn who had just agreed to provide the drug at a reduced price. The interviewer kept pushing about cost but Dr. Randy employed a Detroit Lions-style defense, the bend but don't break. You may know it as the "Prevent".
He admitted that the price would bring LL to the market at a 20-25% discount to a course of RemDeceiver (Trademark Pending). The interviewer pushed further and started doing the calculations. He mentioned that a course of RemDeceiver (Trademark Pending) was just over 10k and then noted that a course of Vyrologix (Trademark already out and getting stank on its downlow, probably with Famvir) must then fall somewhere around $8,500. Dr. Randy also stated in that interview that LL was a 4-dose therapy.
I'll let you do the math on 4 doses and come up with the price per vial because I'm too drunk to taste this chicken.
I don't disagree with you that we should do everything in our power to maximize this opportunity, but you can't set a precedent that LL is cheap. It's our only product. Nader gave away a fair share of doses and now he's (via our best evidence in the referenced video) pricing it 20-25% less than, and I hate to type this because RemDeceiver (Trademark Pending) is a fucking turd...the standard of care.
This is more than reasonable, and by the time the bulk of your average Joes (Filipino Joes, which I think just translates as Joes) need Leronlimab the access will be coming via government supported EUA.
Long story short, he's doing what you want him to while maintaining our best interests moving forward.
