I'd absolutely love to be wrong here. As everyone on this board knows, Drs. Jay, Agresti, and Seethamraju were in their open letter strong advocates of four weekly doses:
"The survival benefit in the CytoDyn study disappointedly tapered off from 82% compared to placebo at Day 14 down to 24% at Day 28. The tapering of benefit may have occurred because patients were not given the drug for the final two weeks of the study per FDA guidance."
The Philippines seems to me a chance to show what Leron can do if properly administered. But maybe NP and the others are concerned with cost. NP didn't make the obvious answer when Cito asked him about cost; that answer is that it is cheap compared to the price of an ICU. If it saves 6 days of hospital stay on average per patient, then a thousand bucks a shot for four shots seems an amazingly good deal.
