Have you ever heard the term that someone is "thic

Have you ever heard the term that someone is "thick tongue'd".  It happens when someone has been drinking.  Maybe required to face 200 shareholders maybe just a speech impediment?  I had a room mate back in college who fell asleep at the wheel due to being too tired and severed his tongue.  He sounded a bit like Lee does when speaking.  Sounds sharp enough to me but I understand your point.
