Not exactly. NP said, Revenue next week. And the shorts said, "Let's make sure this doesn't get out of control. Ignorance, you write a hit piece. Adam, you short hard at the opening. SAF, you question NP's character. If we're lucky, people will think that the market is saying, 'show me.'"
The market moves in mysterious ways. It's not a monolith; it can often be nudged one way or another. A PR saying a check arrived would be harder to naysay than NP saying the check is in the mail. But I wouldn't say there is conclusive evidence that NP is wrong about revenues.
