Not what I said. WNBD is a ticker that had a gagged TA.
Let me say two things. Some posters take a combative attitude towards what I consider to be fact. One is, seasoned, deep-pocketed and experienced penny stock investors are not inclined to invest in stocks with a gagged TA. First. Second, in my view, any company that hires, uses, or maintains a TA for which the share structure is not freely extended to inquiring shareholders --in my view-- has a gagged TA.
Third, and this is very important, the fact that a ceo chooses to hire a TA who obscures, hides, or flat-out (policy or otherwise-- they do go "dark" at various times for various and not usually good reasons) will not reveal the share structure DOES NOT prevent the CEO from posting, showing or offering the share structure at will. WNBD was one such stock that chose to divulge the share structure to its shareholders as a nod towards being as transparent as they could.
Now, for those inclined to think this a ploy-- great, enjoy your investment. But, when other investors-- be they bright & experienced or dumb as a box of rocks & green-- request it and it goes unprovided then there is a problem. At minimum, call it an issue of customer service. The customer, new investor in this case, is not getting what he/she wants.
So, agree or not, why wouldn't a current investor want their company opened up to as many potential investors as possible? What is the problem with showing the share structure? The ironic thing is that those most profusely steadfast in defense of this very unwise (imo) corporate policy/action are the ones who just recently got BADLY burned by it. When Niko was screaming for the CEO to unveil it, to post it, and fighting with Mark to reveal it Mark never did. Now we all know why. It was Niko who also broke the fact that the Secretary of State raised the A/S to 6.5Billion and Mark ran a cover-up for quite the while before finally coping to it.
No one has to convince me. I have learned enough to know that I am not likely (I won't say never) but not inclined to invest in a stock with an ungagged TA. Let's just agree then to disagree, I think the stock needs new customers and being transparent would be just one small step in the right direction. If others disagree,...I am cool with that. I gave here, the courtesy of an explanation to substantiate my pov and be respectful of the inquiry. But I am not invested here and don't need to be, plenty of fish in the sea.
However, those defending ml (or any ceo) or to say, "that it is policy" is silly... TO ME. Who sets policy? Why, in over two years couldn't another TA be hired? Why couldn't the ceo post the share structure as often as would make new investors comfortable? Isn't the point of investing to expand the investor base, encourage growth in the company, the value, increase the demand for the stock etc..
Enjoy your stock, and that's all I'll say on the matter unless prompted further. That was my public service announcement. Take it or leave it, either way is fine by me. Like I said I don't own this and have no compelling desire to...unless the m.o. changes....(I am not criticizing anyone, just expressing my pov and answering as completely and respectfully the questions directed to me)
