Great News today. The wordsmiths will soon come out and spin it both ways. Some for positive news and some not so positive.
Any morning we wake up to multiple news releases has to say something. Why release all new information on Monday morning when you have a planned CC planned for Wednesday? What does that say? More and maybe better information to release on Wednesday?
I like that the HIV BLA is on time and this was a subject we hammered back and forth after Dr. Rahman disappeared from employment. Nader had said that it was on time and we had hired two companies to complete our RO testing. So many were not believing that we would have a BLA even this year. Looks like that is settled now and all is on schedule. Excellent!
I like the self promotion of the management team saying they are a very capable team. With the news today it shows that they didn’t drop the ball on HIV and that something is brewing with the Severe/Critical CD-15 trials still. That is the nugget of the day to me. What’s brewing there? Did we get to use the Open label extension analysis for the CD-15 trial as we had hoped? Who will accept that analysis besides The MHRA and Canada for approval? Will the FDA feel the pressure even more and turn over their position of enough information with no harm? P-value? Lots of questions and much to discuss between now and Wednesday.
One thing personally I don’t want to discuss is all these crazy ideas of buy outs or partners. We DO NOT need anyone to take our potential away from us. It’s like saying... boy we are going to make a killing on this stock... then selling out for pennies on the dollar from a BO or partner getting half of our potential value. Call me greedy and know that I want to keep all the money we can earn in this company. We Don’t need any partners... didn’t you hear Nader say... they are a very capable team. As for hiring a couple Merck employees... as we grow we will hire experienced Big Pharmaceutical people because these are the people that will help us grow fast and become our own Big Pharmaceutical company. When you see experienced people making that move it shows us the potential they must see in Cytodyn. Now we must start believing in our little company like they do. We are capable and it shows. Everything is changing for the good of the company right now. If your not seeing this your wearing blinders. Our pathways are clear and our direction is defined. We are closer than ever to revenue. Can you believe that? Revenue! It’s our time and we don’t need to share it with anyone.
