Wow, Dr. Nagpal (who sounds like he's intentionally spelling his name backwards) seems the total epitome of the medical community, or at least the doctors I've tried to tell about Leron. He's a hotshot at Sanford hospital (Medical Director for infection prevention), teaches at two universities, and of course he's ready to pronounce his opinions as a kind of blessing for the world. He told the local paper that "I'm not going to let my ego get ahead of myself. [Too late for that, doc.] I still want to stick to science and I still want to see data." He adds that collection of helpful data can be accelerated if significant numbers of COVID-19 patients take part in randomized control trials of drugs like leronlimab, which he said is the best way to arrive at safe and effective treatments people can trust.

In other words, he has no idea that randomized control trials have been done on Leron and shown tremendous benefit. No, he wants to stick to science, which in this case masquerades as ignorance -- and lethal ignorance at that.

I wrote to a friend of mine who is an NIH scientist developing a vaccine about CD12; I boiled down the safety, FDA misdirection, accidental skewing of the patient population, and subgroup success of the trial to 10 goddamn lines, and he clearly didn't even read it all. He said that "mistakes in the trial are the responsibility of the sponsor." The FDA is in the clear.

JLang wrote about his hatred for journalists, a group which includes me; I am developing a parallel distaste for about 90% of medical doctors. They are so busy knowing everything they can't be bothered to notice the facts.

Sorry about the rant. Just go on about your business.
