Without turning this into a debate, there are plenty of journalists who strive to report impartially but it’s the viewers who tend to pigeon-hole them depending on the news outlet they work for.

Take Nicole Wallace. She’s a lifelong Republican strategist who worked on Sarah Palin’s campaign. Hardly a liberal but now she reports on MSNBC, many will now view her as a Democrat (which she isn’t).

You are correct though in that everything, especially in the US, has become partisan. From vaccines to pillows. Yup, a shame.
