I think you have a pretty good handle. But(sorry R24), only because we are waiting on news, I have a few things I 'd like to touch on.
I like the private board for certain situations. Use it quite a bit these days. This is to support the mission of the public board. I like sharing non- CYDY stuff with some & outside the box stuff with others. We have our fun & life is easier for mods.
Have no problem sharing that I have had several conversations with CI on the private board. We sparred, we danced, we laughed, WE DISAGRREED, but I enjoyed the exchange. Same stuff he talks about publicly, with an added human element that you do not see here. Call him out, debate him, challenge him? Yes. Dislike him? No. Not a problem for me, but what I understand about CI is that he could not run an ice cream store. One flavor, no sprinkles with excellent service.
Lastly, private vs public:Have not been made aware of any behind the scenes coup, regarding NP. Not saying it is not going on, just that I have not been approached in a direct way, thus far.Not ready to make that decision yet. If I should vote to kick his a.. to the curb, it will be because of my own thoughts.
Not a big fan of factions, as they are so similar to doctrine, politics,favortism,racism,chauvinism & being an ass in general.
How many wars would there be if no one chose sides?

Back to public vs private. I think that most of us know PRIVATE is no more private than those we communicate with. Chowder is a great example.I am not an SAF fan, but find it hardto believe that he is not smart enough to see through Chowder.
It took great effort & multiple posts via pm to get Chowder to ignore me. Got tired of him stepping on & re- directing my posts. Post #88299 tells me that I knew something. Private is private. Dude's got something extra going on, imho. I will not do CI, ER, OR ANYONE ELSE THAT WAY.
