What does your family friend say about Doc's actual achievements? Is this the simple case of an old man with grandiose dreams?
Or is actually going to deliver something measurable and valuable???
I think a lot of people are hanging onto Doc by way of his resume, so-called reputation, and the pedigree of his associates.
If JHB ain't all that - then I'm not sure what confidence I still have in me about this whole thing.
I guess that at this point - I'd rather go flat broke than sell right now. I think alcoholism and a life of regret would likely be the fate of a guy who got out just a tad too early. . .
