BIEL was fortunate that DonJoy and SAI Brands are using the 'ActiPatch' name in their products.
KT Tape's Recovery+ Wave is more of the OEM rule than the exception, The only reference to BIEL being a "Manufactured for" statement in tiny print on the bottom end flap of the box.
KT wanted the Wave to be seen as their product, as can be seen with the distinct "KT" in orange stamped on the device.
With the changes KT had BIEL make to the device, battery, electronics, logo, this is a KT speced product that BIEL is manufacturing for KT, not an ActiPatch. This project adds Medical Device Contract Manufacturing to BIEL's resume, a $70 billion industry,
OEM suppliers make good money manufacturing components or complete products that other companies market.
BIEL's prospective new OEM customers for PSWT products know exactly who BIEL is.
