The Spanish Flu took 4 waves and 2 years before social isolation, masks and antibody response of the survivors took away the hosts for the Spanish Flu to flourish. During the last wave you could be fined $5 in San Francisco during 1919 if you were in public without a mask.
But the Spanish Flu went away. No more hosts.
Vaccinations and Viral respiratory behavior (masks, avoidance of indoor groups, etc. etc.) will remove the hosts for Covid eventually also.
The rub is the group of people who serve as a pool for Covid variant generation by not becoming vaccinated, refute the science, have really bad luck, or don't know any better. Leronlimab will help that pool by keeping the grim reaper away when they do test their expiration date.
