That's the message I got from the Proactive also. "No FDA action on CD-16-17 we'll take our show on the road." The question is whether or not other countries will act any differently. That the Philippines FDA is so far not interested in simply stockpiling LL is a bad sign. I thought the body language of the head of PI FDA was arrogantly defiant, but I couldn't understand his words. He also sounded defiant when asked to allow the patient and family signoff on liability rather than putting it all on MDs. Something that is likely to keep many MDs from using LL.
Brazil seems slow to the plate, Canada appears to be taking a Labatt's break, and we haven't heard diddly from the UK, or EU.
Is there any country out there that actually wants to save lives during a pandemic? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Just need one country to use in quantity saving 82% of critical patients and we can do the single digit salute to the US FDA and others. One lousy country that wants to save lives!!!!
