I sent the following letter to my Congressman and both Senators. Please feel free to copy, edit and then use it when sending it to yours.
Subject line: FDA's resistance to giving EUA to the lifesaving monoclonal antibody Leronlimab from Cytodyn.
This monoclonal antibody has been proven safe and effective in successful clinical trials with HIV patients who have taken it for over 5 years. It has been shown safe and effective in 2 FDA approved clinical trials for Covid patients and is particularly effective for those who have reached the critical stage for which there is no other effective treatment. Many lives have been unnecessarily lost while the FDA delays its use. Full disclosure: I am an investor in the company, but the attached letter is from 3 distinguished doctors with much experience with Leronlimab who have no financial interest in the company.
