Joe started out as a consultant for Generex many years ago when former CEO Gluskin was about to bankrupt Generex. She could no longer raise any capital, her toxic death spiral financings strangled every aspect of the company, including signing Ii-Key patents as collateral to Crenshaw Capital etc. Joe at that moment found Anna new rounds of investors, that were at least enough to start to clean out the horrible mess she caused. But he wasn’t an executive or on the BOD, do he called no shots as other like Bill Abajian steered Anna in weird directions. Joe later worked with her replacement to fix to huge aspects harming the company, odd real estate and alleged illicit financial dealings by a former executive, as well as taking a comprehensive review of Generex’s clinical trials.
Joe brought on Dr Anderson a former LLY executive who originally brought GNBT and LLY together before Anna blew that deal. He started completely redesigning the Oral-lyn formulation which is ready for new studies per funding. Joe brought in Dr Craig Eagle from PFE who took an expert look at the AE37 protocol designed by Col George Peoples from Walter Reed and found it flawed. Eagle and Joe convinced Generex to make a new protocol putting in more low her2 expressing patients since the study had far too many high her2 expressing patients who then are already on the exceptional Herceptin. That move saved enough of the study to mark significant disease free survival improvement in triple negative patients to move into a key study with Keytruda. Once Covid allows for these patients to get back into studies at the Cleveland Clinic that one can be wrapped up.
Joe then became CEO after Fletcher crashed the company without even submitting sec filings for quarters. He put up his own money to get the filings submitted and Gnbt back on standing with the SEC.
As a consultant he did a lot, wasn’t in charge of the stupid decisions, and as CEO has worked to accomplish a lot.
That’s the real history leading into a future because Joe saved Generex and AE37.
