Complicated theory explaining false positive math. A false positive result says you have the virus when you really don't. No harm cones to the testee except quarantining as a precaution being a waste of your time. I don't think anyone ever died of a false positive except maybe from shock.
Anyone who tests positive gets another test to confirm, so false positives are easily dealt with if you then test negative.
