Conference calls.
But not your typical whining about the share price fluctuations, the need for these in the first place, or how our legal counsel has gone from a no nonsense, bad-at-pronouncing-tough-words moderator for the Q & A session into the budding superstar of these calls. #sassyminx
No, I'm talking about why we're having them in the first place.
Speaking of first place...I did win the race to a full bottle of wine and two filets tonight. It wasn't even close. I'm now about to win the ice cream sandwich portion of the evening as well. I've got two warming up a little on the desk right now and four in the hopper ready to be deployed. You have to let them start coming back toward room temp a bit so that the ice cream is a little soft.

Anyway, if you go back and think about how our conference calls have gone you'd see that they happened at best about once a month. I'm talking the last two years or so, which is how long I've been an addict.

As a result I've been playing close attention to everything LeeRon and there's a little something going on right now that needs some focus.
Yes, we talk about the possibility of the Philippines making a bulk order or issuing an EUA after their former president made a classic LL comeback. And we talk about the situation in Brazil, the meeting on Thursday with Canada, and of course the never ending discussion around the FDA here in the states and their lack of action.
But what we don't talk about is why NP has decided that we need to have calls every one to two weeks.
Why so often?
What's different right now compared to 6 or 12 months ago?
I'll save you the brainpower.
It's that NP feels like significant progress is only weeks away. That there are so many moving parts and interesting developments on the immediate horizon that staying in touch more often right now is ideal.
Now, the people who should be banned from continuing to post here will tell you it's just his ego, or that he's desperately trying to save the share price from tumbling. But that's not the case. He didn't do them every one to two weeks back when I bought shares at twenty nine cents, effectively locking in the name of my future boat* and/or beach house*, did he? No, he didn't.
*Casa Twenty Nine Cents, like Wu-Tang, is for the children.
NP may not know exactly what catalyst will shake out first, but he believes one or more are imminent and that's why we're going to hear from him again next week, and again a week or two later, and again soon after for as long as it takes to hump this MAB to market somewhere.
To quote Miss Clipper from the movie Joe Dirt, when the dog is humping a young Joe Dirt's leg and he asks if he can push the dog off...
"He'll stop humping as soon as he's done."
