On the conference call Nader responded to a question about a conditional EUA explaining that it isn't technically a type of authorization, but that they were asking for the EUA in a conditional way, where they would continue to gather more data for the FDA but get approval for critical patients now. He said the FDA said no and that they want more data first. Later he muddied the waters by saying something that left open the possibility that we could still get it. It wasn't the first time I've seen or heard that the FDA wants more data concerning an EUA. So while technically we haven't been told no, which leaves open the technically possible scenario wherein they say yes, I would bet money we aren't getting any EUA in the US without some more data. That is probably 100% dependent on CD16/17 but if we get enough positive data from the open label before then maybe that could be enough. I just think we're months away at minimum here in the US and if I was getting my hopes up about anything it would be the Philippines, Hungary, then Canada, then Brazil. But what do I know, I'm just the ScoopDaddy (TM) and the guy who thought we were just about to gain approval a mere 8 times we could have maybe gotten approval ago.
