Good Morning! Nice to hear that Leronlimab was
Post# of 148161
Nice to hear that Leronlimab was given to the former president of the Philippines. Of course the only article out on the Manilla Times discussing his recovery notes that he was given Remdesivir. Which I'm sure he was. And which I'm sure did nothing. Then he gets Leronlimab and begins to recover. At least, that's what we all hope the timeline looks like. Common sense says it happened that way. Hard to tell though without some additional color surrounding his treatment.
I think we're likely to get that color as he gets further out of the weeds and coverage updates lead to interviews.
What I don't expect, and you shouldn't either, is a Monday morning PR about it from Cytodyn.
They likely will, and should in my opinion, follow the lead of the ex president and the government of the Philippines on this. Medical history and medical appointments are supposed to be confidential, and though public officials are often not afforded that luxury I'm positive the play here is to lay back behind the scenes and leverage this information into a bulk order and EUA. Let the former president and/or the current regime speak about it first. Let this puppy grow organically, which can lead to far more eyes on us than a PR from us would bring on Monday.
Don't get me wrong. I'd love to see one and I'd hope that it would actually break through to major media. I just don't think it will happen and I also think it probably shouldn't happen. At least just yet.
I also saw that someone (swordman?) showed that his Wikipedia page was updated to include Leronlimab. Which is hilarious because it couldn't have been any more obvious that it was done by a board member unless they'd thrown a #TechnicalAnalysis at the end Respert-style.
"His son also confirmed that Estrada was treated with Leronlimab, an experimental monoclonal antibody produced by the American company Cytodyn. This drug has had statistically significant results based on P value < .05 in reducing deaths in critically ill patients by 80+% at day 14 of a double-blind trial called CD12. Leronlimab has not yet received FDA approval or emergency use authorization in the United States or the Philippines.

Good on ya, whoever you are. Well done.
But just for those unaware, Wikipedia is basically crowd-sourced. Just about anyone can update a page. So while it's great that it's on there I don't think it necessarily validates anything and it almost certainly shouldn't be construed as "major media picking up the story".
But, BUT, as people are searching for news on this recovery it could come in handy that there's a blurb about Leronlimab there. Many, many people go to Wikipedia to learn about things. It's a net positive.
The timelines are merging together and that's a good thing. The ex president gets Leronlimab either right around or just after the company announces that more doses are on their way for compassionate use. The same PR tells us that Cytodyn is currently negotiating the potential delivery of 100,000 vials for their compassionate use program. Covid is surging there right now and the current president is rumored to also potentially be sick as he's called off public engagements for the past 10 days or so. The Manilla Times had a story showing pictures of him out at night going for a walk to try to play down the potential that he's sick like much of the rest of his cabinet.
Taken all together, this truly could be a very fast and very furious move onto the world stage for Cytodyn. It's a long time coming, and well overdue. So while I'm excited about Hungary and Canada in the short term, I'm now most interested in how this plays out in the Philippines.
And by the way, I've been a shareholder for over two years so I know a little something about absurd and unexpected CYDY happenings. If this fucking story ends up coming around with the son having to admit he misread the name of the medication and that it was actually Lenzilumab that his dad got I'm going to break my computer in half.
And you'll want to too. But if that were to happen the most important thing is that you remember that you heard it here first. From the ScoopDaddy himself.
Sincerely,
